
Patagonia Chocolates: Replatform
Queenstown-based artisan chocolatiers crafting premium handmade chocolate experiences since 2005.
After a decade on an outdated platform, Patagonia Chocolates required a complete ecommerce transformation. Their previous site failed to reflect the craftsmanship and quality of their products and lacked the flexibility needed for a growing digital channel.
Moustache Republic replatformed the brand to Shopify, rebuilding the site to support long-term growth and deliver a refined customer experience. A fully custom Build-a-Box feature now replicates the in-store flavour selection online, allowing customers to create their own mix of bonbons, bars, and truffles.
To meet regulatory requirements for non-prepackaged food, we developed an automated system that generates custom order cards with product images, ingredients, and allergen information. We also introduced a Seasonal Subscription Box, enabling customers to receive curated chocolates every three months.
With a modern, visually engaging storefront and a robust tech stack, Shopify Subscriptions, Klaviyo, and GoSweetSpot. Patagonia Chocolates is now positioned to extend their in-store magic into a scalable, high-performing online channel.
